I'm Julia - the face behind Willow & Fern.  

I've been handcrafting for many, many years, but officially started beading in early 2025.  What began as a fun, silly hobby bloomed quickly into a bit of an obsession (really!), and has since grown into this little business. 

As a Multiple Sclerosis Fighter, I spend a large part of my time sitting still. Not out of want, but out of pure necessity.  I am constantly looking for things to keep me occupied.  Favorite activities include reading (kindle or an audiobook - I'm not picky!), puzzling, re-watching a favorite show, and now beading.  Beading has the extra benefit of helping me fight loss of dexterity in my fingers AND I can still listen to an audiobook while doing it. :)
